Fast and simple phone
Amazing battery life, no overheating, slim, fits in a tight pocket easily, even combined with glass and slim phone case. Very simple, no bloatware , updates straight from Google. Decent price if you can catch a deal. Comes in variable colors and looks. Been using it for several months now, durable and quality item.

High quality upgrade for an excellent price.
Still wanting to stick with an Android, Took the plunge and upgraded from 2021 Moto G Pure to Google Pixel 10a. OMG! Awesome! Easy and fast to transfer info between phones if you do it all in one step and follow the instructions. It’s similar to use as the Moto; but better quality, more features, 7 years of updates and security patches, etc. Worth the extra money and even got a bit of a price break. Nice looking phone. Great camera and sound is sharp and clear. Used for a few days before was able to get correct screen protector, was very careful and screen was still perfect condition when I got case with built in protector. Very satisfied with purchase, husband’s phone is next.

Best Pixel phone yet; great price
Good: Just about everything, overall improvement on the Pixel 7 this replaced. Bright, sharp screen. Excellent sound quality with and without buds. Fast enough for my needs – I don’t do hardcore gaming on my phone, it’s fast enough for just about everything else. Sturdy, attractive housing; looks and feels good, metal / composite should be less delicate than the glass back on my old phone. Camera is great, I haven’t had this for very long but have yet to find a lighting or depth or motion situation it can’t cope with. Data transfer from the old phone was utterly painless. Very good price for what you get.Bad: It’s a rare occasion when I pick this thing up without getting push notifications about some feature that Google thinks I need to enable. Google is quickly becoming as bad as Microsoft in this regard. And, of course, they’re shoving AI down our throats, which I neither need nor want on my phone. Looking forward to seeing how much more battery life I get when I figure out how to disable it completely.Bottom line: My old Pixel 7 was nearing end of life – a couple of unfortunate drops have the glass back cracked all the way across and starting to crumble in one corner, the face has a couple of obvious scratches, and the battery rarely lasts more than a day of light use – so it was time to upgrade. Pixel phones in general have impressed me with performance and value, and this latest Pixel 10a is no exception. It isn’t top of the line, but if your phone isn’t your primary computer, which mine is not, so what? Just, Google, please back off on the “engagement” messages and AI obsession, OK? Five stars.

Great Mid Range Phone that Exceeds Expectations
I’ve been using the Google Pixel 10a for a while and it’s been a great experience. The phone feels great to hold , works well and does routine chores without any lag . It has great battery life, easily lasting through a full day of normal use.This phone definitely shines in the photography department. The photos are crisp, colored and detailed, even in difficult circumstances. Google’s software features are also incredibly handy and provide for a smooth overall experience.The display is bright and clear, conversations are sharp and the phone doesn’t slow down even with many apps open. I particularly love the lengthy software support, which gives me the feeling that the gadget will be upgraded for years to come.For the price, it’s hard to beat the balance of performance, camera quality, battery life and software experience. This is starting to become one of my favorite Android phones and I would gladly suggest it to anybody searching for a reliable and feature filled smartphone.

The best smartphone I have ever owned (so far).
My previous phone wasn’t cutting it. It was a Samsung A15 with only 4GB of RAM, and the Amazon Music app needed 6-8 GB of RAM to not crash, so I got the Pixel Phone 10a with 128 GB of storage. I wish I had paid the $100 more for the 256 GB of storage version. I feel like they should have not made a 128 GB version, and should instead have made a 256 GB and a 512 GB version. In any event, this phone only needs to last me until 6G becomes available in a few years. Until then, I anticipate will will serve me well. Amazon Music doesn’t randomly crash on this phone like it did on my Samsung, and for that reason alone, the extra cost of this phone was worth it for me. Also, I would be remiss if I failed to mention that the cameras are way better than anything I’ve ever owned before.I connected this phone to a USB-C hub with and HDMI output to a 27″ computer monitor, and paired Logitech Bluetooth keyboard and mouse to it, and use it in desktop mode. When plugged into a PD wall charger into the USB-C hub’s dedicated power input, it charges my phone while in desktop mode. Desktop mode is great! It comes in very handy composing long text messages. Google Docs and Sheets apps work great in desktop mode.It kind of reminds me of the idea Canonical had for the Ubuntu phone that could be used on its own as a smart phone, but also connected to a USB-C hub with HDMI monitor, and using either Bluetooth or USB keyboard and mouse, and use it as a desktop computer like I can with my Pixel Phone. Canonical failed miserably, but I think Google has kind of pulled it off if you don’t particularly mind Google spying on you to deliver targeted ads, or their Gemini integration.One thing that annoyed me was the setting it came with that made the power button bring up Gemini instead of the power menu so I could restart or shutdown my phone. I had to go into the settings, and make changes to make the power button work for power instead of Gemini. To fix that, go to Settings > System > Gestures > Press & hold power button and change the action from “Digital assistant” to “Power menu”. That’s my only gripe about this phone.

Decent upgrade from an 8 yr old flagship phone.
Forced to upgrade from my locked Samsung Note 9 because the latest version of Android I could get on it was v10, and most my work and bank apps needed a min of Android v11. Sucks that I basically have to repurpose a perfectly working phone as a wifi only device because of software… I was trying to hold out till GrapheneOS+Motorola hit the shelves, but unfortunately I could not wait any longer. Fortunately I bought it during Prime days and got it for $499 ($100 off reg price). My next upgrade will be a Motorola in 2031ish.As for the Google Pixel 10a, the screen is a little less color rich compared to my Note 9, but that was as expected as it’s a budget phone. The back of the phone is super slick, I waited till I got a phone case before using it, didn’t want to accidently drop it. The screen is just as responsive as the Note 9, I noticed the phone gets a little hotter when playing games than my old phone. Battery life is worse than old phone when doing the exact same tasks, despite having a 54% larger capacity battery and ~9 years newer. I travel out in the middle of nowhere frequently, so I’m used to 1 bar of LTE or roaming, surprisingly this has a superior antenna and I’ve been consistently getting 2 bars and rarely decreasing to 1 bar, and have yet to start roaming which is a huge plus for my use case.After installing GrapheneOS, the battery usage is prolonged by about 30mins, though still under what I got out of the Note 9, the screen doesn’t get as hot when playing games. After optimizing the display and using battery saver mode, battery life is about 1 hr longer than the Note 9.

An Ideal Device
Awesome. I switched from Apple and couldn’t be happier. I got the 10a in the color Obsidian and it looks great. The phone feels better to the touch than my iPhone. The G4 chip is zippy enough for my light workload, and is more efficient than the newer G5. My 128Gb model at $499 is nearly a third of the price some variants available when picking a new cell phone, making the 10a a competitive budget option. For Google ecosystem and Gemini users, the 10a’s value is excessive. The value for 10a users is the G4’s functionality combined with savings from decreased screen and camera specs. I’m not an influencer, so my camera is used for doc managememt, mostly. As for the screne, I find the lower spec screen to be less distracting, which great for limiting screen time. The 10a has a smooth feel to its exterior, so it slips through the hand and feels light, almost fragile in comparison to my 14Pro which seems to want to stay put in my hand and is extremely durable.
