    Great Purchase

I absolutely love this MacBook Air M5. It’s super fast, lightweight, and the battery lasts all day for me. I use it for school, streaming, browsing, and everyday tasks, and it handles everything smoothly without any issues. The screen looks amazing especially with the midnight color option, the keyboard feels great, and it’s easy to take anywhere. Definitely one of the best purchases I’ve made and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable laptop. Size isn’t too big I got the 13inch and stills gives me enough room to navigate throughout tabs, and very versatile.

Excellent MacBook Air and an Even Better Deal Before the Price Increase

I’m very happy with this 13-inch MacBook Air. I was lucky to get it right before the price increase, so it felt like an even better purchase and a great value for what it offers. The design is exactly what I wanted from a MacBook Air: thin, lightweight, clean, and easy to carry around. The Midnight color looks premium and modern, and the laptop feels very well built without being bulky. It is easy to take to work, school, travel, or use around the house.Performance has been excellent so far. The M5 chip feels fast and smooth for everyday tasks, multitasking, browsing, documents, streaming, video calls, and productivity work. With 16GB unified memory, it handles multiple apps and tabs much better than basic configurations, and the 512GB SSD gives enough storage for regular use without feeling limited right away. The 13.6-inch Liquid Retina display is another highlight. Everything looks sharp, bright, and clear, whether I am reading, watching videos, or working for long hours. The camera quality is also good for video calls, and Touch ID makes logging in quick and convenient.Battery life has also been very impressive. It lasts a long time on normal use, which makes it reliable for daily work without constantly looking for a charger.Overall, this MacBook Air feels fast, portable, premium, and dependable. Getting it before the price increase made the purchase even better, but even without that, it is a great laptop. Five stars!

A Best Macbook…..Excellent performance , light weight, a thin profile, at a very decent price!

I’ve owned perhaps 15 Apple laptops over the last 20 years or so. My last two were a Macbook Pro and Air, both with the “M” chip.I sold the Pro because it was too heavy and bulky. It had the M1 PRO chip. My primary last laptop was the Air with an M2 processor. It excelled at everything I needed to do, but, was the base model with 256GB storage and the wifi 6 protocol was for me was not adequate for my 1GB up/down FIOS service. The wifi proved stable, but, slower in speed due to not being wifi 7.I updated to the new Air M5 to get full speeds on wifi 7, a base hard drive capacity that was twice my older model and with hopes, a tad more battery life for each charge.I can state quite accurately that the wifi 7 speeds on this new Macbook Air are far better than my older wifi 6 model. I’m getting an average of 950 mbps up and down with this new Air using a TP-Link BE230 I purchased from Amazon. That’s almost to my plan speed and wireless from a room away from my router. My base Macbook Air M5 is in fact lower in price now as I post this review than the additional $65 in price that I paid for it a short time ago! With Apple improving and increasing it chip speeds for the M series and offering a light, thin and powerful laptop like the Air that’s far lower in price than a PRO model, the Air M5 series are the way to go!I truly believe the Macbook Air will be the winner for the best combination of speed, great price and very adequate performance, for the majority of users!I’ve been a Macbook owner and user for a long while and this latest model is to me, the best one I have owned yet!

    Great laptop!

Perfect for authors or anyone in general. Has great battery life- last for many hours- usually 3 days or more for me. Keyboard is soft and quiet with typing. Screen quality is great. I got the lite blue tinted laptop and it’s beautiful. Highly recommend! Definitely worth the money.

my favorite laptop – m5 air

excellent laptop, light weight, only about 2.5lb, and size is small, taking less space, very quiet because there is no noisy fan; for the chip it is M5, smooth like butter, making everything feel effortlessly fast, most important, it is the long lasting battery life, no hunting for the outlet when I am at a coffee shop.

Love it…purchased the “Used – Very Good”

I purchased this as “used” in Very Good condition. The new was about $150 off and this was another almost $75 off. The description from Amazon was that the screen had no signs of scratches and the original box showed signs of damage when they inspected it. I took a chance since there were free returns. It arrived in a brown box with the Amazon Prime tape like so many of my boxes. When I opened it, there was the Apple box and it did show some damage, but nothing significant. When I opened the Apple box, the computer was in there and it was not in the normal Apple cover/wrapper like when you buy new. But as I inspected all of the computer, I did not see anything to note. It all looks like new with the exception you could see smudges and smears that you don’t see from Apple with new, but no big deal. Also in the box was the charging cord that was just wound up with a twist tie on it, you could tell it has been unwrapped from the original packaging and the same with the charging block. They were in like new condition, just not in the original packaging. The envelope that normally comes with Apple products were also included. When I started the computer it was about 93% charge and it booted up as a new setup. Once I set it up and running I checked a couple things. There were no other user profiles in it and the battery cycles was 2, so that means me turning it on was only the second time. I was expecting that to be higher number since someone had already purchased it and since Amazon had tested and inspected it. But I will take it.I have found not issues what so ever and have everything setup and running for a couple of days. I have had a number of Apple MacBook Air computers over the years and have always enjoyed them and this one is no different. Like the dark color, and all of the features and functions they have upgraded. My last one that I just retired is an M1, so lots of positive changes since it. Will continue to buy Apple products and the 13″ MacBook Air is perfect for what I do. I had given serious thought to the Neo because of my needs. But with the price of this I only paid a little more to get the MacBook Air and all of the features and functions this offers.

After Years on Windows and Chromebooks, My First Real MacBook

I had an old MacBook computer that someone gave me years ago. It had already been used and had sporadic shutdown issues from the day I got it. Guess that is why they gave it to me. It was running an early version of Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger, probably from 2006. It didn’t last long before it gave up the ghost. I had used Macs on my job as a tech support person for a printer company. But for most years, I used Windows, then got a few Chromebooks for knocking around, mostly for browsing. I am a graphic artist and use Adobe Creative Suite, but my work computer is a Dell that is pretty powerful with 32 GB of RAM. I am so surprised to see that this new MacBook M5 with half the RAM is as fast, if not faster, and I am loving the way this thing works and getting used to the differences in the operating system. With a few Google searches, I have been able to navigate and get the settings to my liking. I am not at all disappointed in my decision to get this computer when I did, and beat the price hike.
